Lessons
Lessons are booked in 1 hour time slots. You are welcome to request shorter or longer lessons, but this may not always be possible.
We encourage parents to be present for lessons, especially for younger students.
If you cancel a lesson with short or no notice, the full lesson charge will apply, including any applicable visit charge.
A late cancellation is one made after 10am on the day the lesson is due to take place.
Billing and payment
We invoice for 4 weeks of lessons at a time. Your first invoice will be emailed to you after your first lesson.
You will not be charged for missed or rearranged lessons (unless it was a late cancellation, as described above).
Subsequent invoices will be sent in advance of the lessons taking place.
Customers have 7 days from the date the invoice is sent to make payment.
Late payments will incur a 10% late payment fee. A payment is late if it is not received in our bank account by the due date stated on your invoice.
Failure to pay an invoice may result in debt collection proceedings against the customer, at their expense.
Availability
Not all subjects and year levels are available in every area. The availability of a particular subject is dependent on the tutors we have available. In some cases, we may only be able to offer online lessons. You can contact us and we will be able to tell you whether the subject you want is available in your area.
We reserve the right to refuse to travel to areas that are inaccessible, unsafe, or that involve excessive travel times. Our tutors are generally able to travel within their city, but this is dependent on your location relative to theirs.
